This Black/Gold SikhKara is made in an unique way of inlaying solid gold wire into the surface of the SikhKara. After that the SikhKara is baked in an oven, which gives it the distinguished black look. The black coloring will wear of after a few weeks, but the gold inlay work is solid. This technique has been used for hundreds of years in Rajasthan on sword and kirpan scabbards.

The engraving is in Gurmukhi, which is the written language of the Sikhs. Gurmukhi roots in the 3000 year old Sanskrit. The actual sounds vibrate in the energy of the meaning of the words.
